Twin Peaks debuted on April 8, 1990. A 13 month old baby was rolling around in Texas, completely oblivious. Twenty-two years later, that baby had grown into a designer living in Brooklyn and spending a lot of time on the internet. She began to binge-watch Twin Peaks on Netflix over the course of a few weeks. She was immediately (okay, after the second episode) smitten with the town, its residents, and David Lynch’s penchant for the surreal. Except Donna. Sorry Donna, you’re the worst.
Welcome to my Twin Peaks project. I love Twin Peaks and I love design. I set out to combine the two with a personal project to brand two of Twin Peaks’ famous (and infamous) businesses. Logos, menus, websites, “Do Not Disturb” signs, mobile apps; I want to do it all.
